Where is Laoac now?

If, based on R.A. 6485 which was enacted on June 17, 1972 (http://www.chanrobles.com/republicacts/republicactno6485.html), the Municipality of Laoac is already 37 years old (hmmm! 2 years younger than me) since its creation. But what is Laoac now in the Pangasinan map and the entire country? What achievements our previous and incumbent local executives and legislatives have done to raise its image in the socio-cultural and economic (never mind political) arena? Have they served Laoac best or only their pockets?

Election (and campaign period) is again a hot season for our politicians. Do you still need to vote for another "years of corruption" and leave the "mis-management" in the hands of these "mis-managed" local officials?
